Students learn about camera operation, photographic composition and technique, image retouching and enhancement through Adobe Photoshop, and other various image software programs.  They are taught modern digital techniques using high-end digital cameras and computer editing and enhancement software, as well as learning techniques to become better skilled using digital point-and-shoot cameras.

In addition to learning the artistic side of photography as well as new technical skills required for digital formats, he advocates helping high students learn the job skills required to gain employment.
