GOALS OF PROGRAM
Prepare select incoming ninth grade students for the rigors of high school coursework by introducing:
- specific literature evaluation techniques
- advanced writing practices
- scientific data collection and analysis
- advanced study and organizational skills
Provide opportunity for interaction between participants and academic role models (Valedictorians and Salutatorians) now attending major universities.
Build a strong sense of community within this specific student demographic by utilizing various team building enrichment activities.
